White American Girl meets brown Pakistani guy. Hilarity ensues.
RE: Twitter pic "This is what happens, road trip with Muslims"Aren't you Muslim yourself that you would make such a critizing comment? It's not a big deal they are praying, why make it into one?
I am Muslim. The comment wasn't criticizing, it was more like, Subhanallah, this is what happens on a road trip with Muslims, you have to stop and pray. I, personally, think it is a big deal to stop what you're doing, especially if its difficult work like driving long distances which I'd rather do quickly and get it over with, and decide to pray instead because God has told you to. I thought it deserved some recognition.
I loved your twitpic photos. I miss reading your blog posts on a daily basis, so it was nice to have a mini window on what you're up to these days :)Hope all is well! Have fun with Abbu.
I wonder if a mosque would ever host a bible study group? Never!
How many mosques have you been to Zymbali? Also, your comment is completely irrelevant because this church was hosting an URDU LANGUAGE CLASS, which has nothing to do with mosques or Islam. You do understand the difference, no? I know plenty of mosques that host English language classes, though, if you're in need of one.
That is too funny Gori. Let's see...any mosques in Pakistan hold English classes for non-muslims? Let's consider the polar opposite and compare. Just saying....freedom of religion in USA is a good thing.
Assalamu AleikomI can't wait until you start passing on some lessons. (hint Hint) :DHope you and your family are doing well. I try to stop by and read whenever you post a new one-- just to stay right inside the realm of the Gori life. :) S.
