All right, I give up. I'll admit it -
this post has instant-karma style come back to bite me. I admit it - I cannot take the spices anymore! I am so tired of eating Pakistani food day in and day out I went and made myself a box of Kraft Mac n' Cheese the other day just to get a BREAK from all the red chili. I had obviously lulled myself into some false sense of competency, but you, my dear readers, should know - I can only take two weeks of it before I go absolutely crazy!

Hey I love reading your blog as I may have mentioned before and it's wonderful to see you adapt to and respect the Pakistani culture so much =)
Great going!
I have a question -- are you in Karachi at this moment? Because I have a feeling I saw you yesterday or day before yesterday in Park Towers, Clifton. Were you wearing a purplish tunic with beige khakis? Sorry if this sounds stalkerish or creepy. I just find it highly unlikely that a "gori" other than you would speak Urdu.. you were with your husband and kid I suppose...I was in the elevator with you
Hope this comment doens't freak you out lol. =)
Lovley blog! Keep it up!
You've been tagged! Lol, check out my blog for details
LOL bless ur heart! Have that mac and cheese andd enjoy it!
love the blog...how did i just find it now?
Mac Kraft and Cheese is haram...
some point during eating the M&C I bet you wanted to add some spice into it. I'm sure this is not the first time darling. I've had the same problem so many times.. the desi food is too spicy and the oriental food now is too bland. I'm sure u understand what i mean. LOL
chillies are addictive, they give you a mild high, triggered by an enzyme or something in its chemistry. I ead something about it somewhere on the net
De-lurking here. Loving your blog.
Sarah
hahaha. i can't eat anything bland anymore. enjoy yr mac n cheese
I bet the Pakistani spices are no match to the Mac n' Cheese :-)
Hahaha- been there. And I grew up on the spices.
:-) I love it when my MIL comes to cook Indian food - and so far, I haven't gotten tired of it while she's here - but it was nice to make a Taco Bell run after the in-laws left. (And after the Taco Bell we had a shrimp dish for dinner Maa froze before leaving - best of both worlds there.
