Sounds nice, actually. We rarely put it below 76 or 78. Just get a fan or two to keep the air moving.

Lol,
I've been following this epic drama and I have to say it is quite hilarious as well as heartwarming.

This made me laugh and remember the sight of my mother in law in her shalvar kameez with two of my husband's sweaters on top and her pashmina wrapped around her head and shoulders

Close the vents in her bedroom and tell her to go to her bedroom if she gets cold, and give her lots of those heavy blankets they use in the winter. Tell her next time she touches the theromstat it will give her an electric shock if it is set about 76.

Hahahaha!! Mine was like that for the past five weeks. And I'm seven months pregnant. So, that's like, 350 degrees in maternity temp. I cranked it down to 68 yesterday just because I could.

Yikes! There has got to be some middle ground on that one, maybe 76-77? I get really cranky if I am that hot in my own house.

Oh yea, I meant to say my sil did that one time when she came to visit, she got cold at night and turned the heater up. But she didn't know how much in farenheit it was, so she didn't realize how hot 90 was. I just explained to her to only turn it up a couple degrees if she was cold, and it worked out better after that.

Faiqa--You must be a saint. . .my hubby felt wrath enough when he tried that once (between 6 and 9 mths preg). . .enough to be scared of doing it again

To each his or her own! When I was growing up, my parents set the A/C to 68. As an adult I've made strides to increase that, but 74 is my high bar.

LOL @ LF - Unfortunately for me, asking her to put on a sweater or use a blanket when it's 90 outside is ridiculous, so I'm the one who has to adapt!

We are DEFINITELY working on finding a middle ground. Our current middle ground of 80+ during the day and >70 when I come home is not working out so much. The only saving grace is that our old house is so drafty that there are parts downstairs that are still comfortable for me even when she's comfortable upstairs. That's how I'm getting my studying done when I'm home!
